OVER THE YEARS
launching the dream
I got my first camera for Christmas in 2017, originally intending to use it for vlogging, back when that was the cool thing to do, Instead, I quickly fell in love with photography after taking senior portraits for my friends. As I gained confidence, I started charging (just a tiny amount, lol), and that small beginning eventually grew into the business I have today!
enrolling in college
I moved to Florida in 2018 for college, majoring in biology, but left my junior year after realizing my heart was in a more creative career. While studying, I did photography on the side—shooting vacationers and beach weddings—which ultimately inspired me to pursue it full-time.
gave birth to my daughter
In 2022, I became a mom, and experiencing the beauty and chaos of motherhood firsthand completely changed my perspective on photography. It led me to focus exclusively on family and motherhood portraits.
rebranding and moving to motherhood/family photography
At the beginning of 2024, I officially rebranded as Kentucky Heirlooms, fully embracing my passion for family and motherhood photography. With this shift, I began sharing only the work that truly speaks to me—capturing the love, connection, and legacy of motherhood.
lovng my job more than ever
Looking back, I can see how every step—from picking up a camera in 2017 to becoming a mother myself—led me to the place God intended for me. Now, pouring my heart into family and motherhood photography, I’m more grateful than ever to do what I love.
SOME THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT ME
1.
I prefer quality over quantity
Because the most meaningful moments deserve to be captured with care. Rather than rushing through dozens of sessions, I focus on creating a thoughtful, personalized experience for each family. From the smallest details to the final heirloom portraits, every step is designed to ensure your memories are preserved beautifully and intentionally.

2.
I am very detail oriented
Every little detail matters to me—from the way a dress flows to the soft curl of your baby’s fingers. I take a thoughtful, meticulous approach to every session, ensuring everything from lighting to composition is just right. My goal is to create timeless, heirloom-quality portraits that feel effortlessly beautiful, yet carefully refined in every way.

3.
I thrive capturing moments as they naturally happen
There’s something so special about the in-between moments—the way a mother instinctively soothes her baby, a child’s giggle mid-spin, or the quiet glance between parents. I thrive on capturing moments as they naturally unfold because they tell the most genuine, heartfelt stories. Rather than forced poses, I focus on creating an environment where you feel comfortable, letting real emotions and connections shine through in every portrait.
